Our Programs

Transforming Youth Through the Power of Relationship.

We serve youth who are considered “at risk” in Shasta and Tehema counties. Our programs have developed in light of our desire to transform youth through the power of relationship.

Here is Jack introducing Tiffany to these students. Tiffany shared her story of how God transformed her life.

At Forward Leap we are convinced the potential for our city is in the hearts of our young people, and that by teaching teens to tell a better story with their lives, we will write a new story for our city. — Chaplain Jack, Founder of Forward Leap

Our Approach to Transformation

Forward Leap Chaplains visit our local facilities several times throughout the week to bring God’s light into the lives of incarcerated youth. We currently have two teams, four chaplains twice a week that serve at the Shasta County Juvenile Rehabilitation Center (JRF). We build relationships with these youth, speak into their lives and offer them spiritual mentorship and talk with them about their life goals and decision making.

I needed a group of friends who are on the right path.
